Career Opportunities

TEDU City and Regional Planning Department is not based on "general planner" but on "expert planner" education which deepens the knowledge and skills of the students in the specific areas.

In this framework, city planners will have extensive business opportunities in central and local administrations and the private sector.  Therefore, they will be able to carry out occupations in a framework that manages the business when necessary and provides other administrators with problems, solutions and options as well.

Gradutes of the program will be able to work in many different fields and related sectors such as ministries and state planning institutions, local governments, regional planning units, and independent planning institutions. Furthermore, graduates of the TEDU City and Regional Planning undergraduate program can also continue their studies as researchers and academicians within the discipline of urban planning by continuing graduate and doctoral education.
