TEDU CITY 301 Planning Studio has organized an excursion to Çanakkale between 22-27 October 2021.
With studio executives Assist. Prof. Dr. Cansu Canaran and Özay Özkan with Res. Assist. Irmak Yavuz, our 3rd grade students gathered general data from public institutions for their analysis that will form the basis for studio’s frameworks and their individual planning studies.
In the scope of the excursion, eastern part of Gallipoli peninsula and Edremit Bay, Çanakkale and natural and historical sites in close vicinity; Troia, Assos and Ida Mountains as well as the historical core, the residential areas and the periphery of the city were observed and documented in reference with overarching theme of the studio: Water Urbanism.
