2026-2027 Fall Semester | Opening Meeting
Tarih: Date
We kicked off the Fall ’26–’27 semester by bringing together our students and academics for the TEDU City and Regional Planning Semester Opening Meeting.
The day began with a wonderfully eclectic talk by our founding member, Baykan Günay, taking us on a playful journey from The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine to the Odyssey, from chaos theory to algorithmic thinking in planning — reminding us, perhaps, that thinking rarely follows a straight line.
Our Department Chair, Ela Ataç Kavurmacı, then welcomed our newcomers, introducing them to the department, our academic team, and the studios.
Welcome back, and welcome to all those joining us for the first time. Here’s to a wonderful semester!
