Success of Our Students | "İskenderun: Pro-Seismic City Design" First Prize

Representing the TED University Faculty of Architecture and Design, the competition team, included students from the TEDU CITY Urban Design Master’s Program and the TEDU ARCH PhD Program, was awarded the First Prize after reaching the finals in the international competition organized by ICAUS International Competition for Architecture and Urbanism Students under the theme “ISKENDERUN: Pro-Seismic City Design.”
This international competition, addressed to urban planning and architecture students, aims to rethink cities devastated by the February 6, 2023, earthquakes through resilient, scientific, and creative spatial solutions, with a particular focus on the case of Iskenderun. The awards were determined by a distinguished jury consisting of city planners and architects from both professional and academic backgrounds in Chile, Türkiye, the Netherlands, and the United States.
