The Success of Our Students | SMART Ankara Project - Hackathon

TEDUCITY students took an active role in the Hackathon event, which was hosted by @universityted on July 19-20, 2024, as part of the SMART Ankara Project “Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP).” This initiative, led by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality EGO General Directorate in partnership with the T. R. Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the EU, aimed to generate and promote ideas with Hackathon, for increasing bicycle use in shared public spaces and applying SUMP principles.
In the competition phase, where idea projects produced by undergraduate students from different disciplines were evaluated, the "Ride Ankara" project, which included our 2nd-year students Kerem Şener and Müzekka Barkın Demirci, was awarded second place. Also, the "CycleHUB Ankara" project, which included our 4th-year students Rojin Ada Akgün and Rozerin Ekmen, received fourth place.
